Are You and Your Life Worthwhile and Deserving of What You Desire?
No matter what it is — you are worthwhile and deserving.
Everyone has bad days. That’s part of the human experience. Even the happiest, most upbeat, and most positive people have bad days. That’s the yin/yang of the Universe at play.
I know how it feels when you’re depressed. That sense of worthlessness, that you are unable to win, that no matter what you do, the Universe hands you shit sandwiches — and hovers over you until you take a nice big bite.
It thoroughly sucks to be sad, to have numerous bad experiences, and to feel victimized by life. But that’s not abnormal. Everyone has this happen to them to a greater or lesser extent.
Part of why I firmly believe that mental health care should get more respect — and be more reasonably priced — is because it’s incredibly beneficial. Not just to your mental health, but also your emotional, spiritual, and physical health, wellness, and wellbeing.
Why? Because everyone, everywhere thinks and feels. Some more, some less. But that doesn’t change the fact that this applies to everyone. And as such, feelings get hurt, thoughts turn dark and ugly, and you will have struggles you could use tools to overcome.
