I have been working on skimming less and reading more, overall. Especially articles here.

To that end, it strikes me that Medium’s new guidelines for payment rewards slow reading over fast. You earn more if people take more time to read.

That said, I am slowing my reading on most Medium articles when I go through them. It gives my brain more to process, AND provides the writer with a better payout, too.
