All that we choose or don’t choose always impacts us.

There are lots of choices I know that I take for granted.

For example — when I go to bed at night. When I get up in the morning. What I read every day. The time I spend on social media. What fencing practices to attend or not. Everything I eat and when. All exercise — great and small.

Each and every one of these is a choice made — or not. Most of them seem insignificant. And while they might be — choices accumulate.

Good choices create an accumulation of good things. Poor choices, meanwhile, accumulate poor things.

Deciding not to choose is not consequence-free.

Looking at this under a microscope, it can become swiftly overwhelming. So very many choices to make all the time. But it doesn’t need to be that way.

How we approach all choices available to us — and how we choose them — will impact their effect on us.

Also — choosing or not will impact our health, wellness, and wellbeing on every level.

Focus on the now

The only time that is really, truly real is now. The present. This very moment and wherever and whatever…
