Does Thought + Feeling + Action Impact Health, Wellness, and Wellbeing?
Thought + Feeling + Action is the key to health, wellness, and wellbeing.
How you start any given day will impact the whole of your day.
If you begin grouchy, uncomfortable, annoyed, and thinking ceaselessly about the troubles ahead in your day — you start feeling negative. That’s not entirely conscious, it’s also subconscious, tied to past and future — and not in the present. This, in turn, leads to action that impacts your overall health, wellness, and wellbeing.
Those actions aren’t necessarily conscious, either. Your thoughts and feelings distract you — and you stub a toe. Or you drop a sheaf of papers all over the place. Or you make a choice while angry with unintended consequences.
Thought + Feeling + Action — conscious or subconscious — impacts your health, wellness, and wellbeing. Always.
Because most people live a rote, routine, habitual life — which society utterly encourages — something like the above might be your experience.
And you might have taken an action to alter your experience. A diet, a new exercise program, quitting smoking, and so on. However — as much as action is necessary — so, too, are thought and feeling.
