There are a lot of people who have certain superstitions about Friday the 13th. This is not just due to the various and sundry horror films of the same name. Lots of people also find 13 to be an unlucky number.
Just to be different: For me, 13 is one of my LUCKY numbers.
Ha! Take that!
The full moon doesn’t just bring out werewolves and other monsters, many people believe that it causes all sorts of crazy to occur. Beyond tidal impacts, the full moon, some people think, causes everyone to lose their ever-loving minds.
Personally, I think the full-moon is gorgeous as she shines down upon us.
Do you allow superstition to impact you?
Black cats are not currently crossing your path
A lot of people look at this stuff as humorous and unimportant. Some, however, get nervous and become concerned about what is going to happen during times such as this.
I am going to let you in on a secret. Today is another day that ends in ‘y’. Do you know what that means? It means you will get out of the day whatever you put into it.
If you are moving forward dreading the number 13 and full-moon fevers and other stuff, that’s what you will likely experience. Know why? Because that’s how the Law of Attraction works.
Like attracts like, and consciousness creates reality.
Don’t buy that? Then I hope you ALSO don’t buy into any of the other superstitions of today. The Law of Attraction has a lot more basis in reality than the dangers of a black cat crossing your path during a full moon on Friday the 13th while you walk under a ladder.
Take it back for yourself (while you knock on wood)
You get to decide whether or not to be superstitious and worry about potential crazy today…or just being. The choice is yours.
Whatever you believe, you will get out of the day whatever you put into it. So if you give it crazy energy, be not surprised when that’s what you encounter.
Life is too short to be paranoid, always looking over your shoulder (and maybe throwing some salt over it, too) and pondering what might go wrong. It could be everything…or it could be nothing.
Friday the 13th will inevitably be followed by the dreaded Saturday the 14th. Do you know what that means? Yup — yet another day that ends in ‘y’.
How come days never end in ‘q’?
You are worthy and deserving of using your mindfulness to find and/or create the reality in which you desire to live. When all is said and done you matter, whether you are superstitious or not.
