How is Weaponizing Exercise More Harmful than Good?

The weaponization of exercise is just as detrimental as food and diet.

Healthy fat people — please raise your hands.

There is a point behind this. I know many people who — like me — are visibly overweight. Yes, for the greater good of my health and wellbeing taking off weight would be a good idea. However — I’m healthy overall.

I’m very active. Taking walks regularly is something I do. I acquired a standing desk so that I am not sitting all day in front of my computer. When fencing, I tend to be among the most energetic with the highest endurance.

When it comes to getting into shape, health, wellness, and wellbeing tend to focus largely on the physical. And more specifically, diet and exercise.

Demonizing dietary choices is a frequent issue — and I wrote about the detrimental effect of weaponizing food.

But in many respects, exercise is equally weaponized to our detriment.
