I'd opt in. Compensate me to use my work to train your AI? Sure, go for it.

"Would you allow a search engine to train on your writing in order to generate AI summarized answers that credited you? Google Bard seems headed in this direction. Would your answer change if the amount of traffic the search engine sent you dropped in half?"

If I got credited and it upped my serarchability, cool. I'm in. If, however, it negatively impacts my as an author - nope, I'm out. My business must be protected and respected first and foremost.
