I could not agree with this more! I think a lot of people don’t understand that editing before you are done just prolongs completing the book.

This inspired a post I just wrote, and I want to also thank you for being my muse.

From my own experience on this topic: I was considering how, when I majorly changed a character halfway thought my fantasy novel, I needed to completely rewrite his introduction. But I didn’t do it until I finished the novel — which I believe, gave me better insight into the character, and made for a far better rewrite.

Thank you for this, it is super-enlightening!
