Joe Biden Has One Important Trait
That trait is empathy and compassion — something sorely lacking in the current administration.
Joe Biden was by no stretch of the imagination the candidate I would have chosen to run for President. He’s got a lot of baggage and issues. While he has some appeal to a broad base, it is not because he lights them on fire or excites them — it’s because he’s as mediocre as they come.
But Joe Biden, for all his flaws, imperfections, and lack of inspiring excitement, is a decent human being.
Today, that counts for a LOT.
Donald Trump is not a decent human being. He’s not a good person. He is a consistent liar, a narcissist, an obstructionist, racist, misogynist, and all-around terrible person. If Trump cares for anyone, it’s himself and that which can better him and his.
A key missing component of Donald Trump is empathy. He has none whatsoever.
Trump has never shown one iota of remorse, sympathy, or any other empathetic reaction to anything. Thousands dying needlessly from COVID-19 because he ignored the reports? Whatever, the economy and the almighty dollar matter more than lives. White supremacist armed protestors marching openly? There are fine people on both sides.
