Life Is Too Short Not to Live with Joy and Passion

You get one shot in the body you presently occupy to experience joy and passion.

I don’t know about you — but I want to experience life.

What does that mean? It means I want to do things, attempt things, try out new experiences. And this is how I have spent most of my life.

There have been various paths laid out before me. And as I looked down and contemplated taking them, I would stop to ask — is this truly what I desire? Will this path bring me joy and passion, or leave me indifferent and apathetic — or worse, sorrowful, and distressed?

I want to live a life full to overflowing with joy and passion.

Numerous ideas are floating around about being “woke” or “awake”. While this is often twisted into some hippy-crunchy liberal ism — it’s something worth striving for.

Why? Because in our current existence — the concept of ourselves walking around Planet Earth in these variable meat popsicles — we get one shot at the life experience. We have an average of about 80 years to live our lives.

The experiences we have are as unique and variable as we are. The nearly 8 billion people on this planet have their own perspectives of reality, goals, and aspirations…
