Just about every opinion can be debated. In most instances, the “truth” tends to exist in one of three brands: mine, yours, and the absolute.
But along the lines of the absolute, the laws of nature are not going to be bent to your opinion. Believe in it or no, gravity is going to work. The same is true of relativity, evolution, and motion.
The one that tends to trip people up the most is the Law of Attraction. The Law of Attraction is a law of nature, and you can disagree with it, not believe in it, and ignore it if you choose. Still, it will go on being.
Gravity, evolution, and motion all happen whether you believe in them or not. Attraction falls into this as well. Like attracts like at the energetic level.
Everything in the entire cosmos is composed of energy. From the largest galaxy to the tiniest subatomic particle this is true. Ergo, YOU are composed of energy.
All of the energy vibrates at various frequencies. The Law of Attraction postulates that, as such, like frequencies attract to one another.
You might be thinking, ok, fine — but that doesn’t mean you can attract things to you physically. That’s all hooky-spooky bullshit.
Ok, you may believe that. But let me ask you this — why not?
Why can’t you attract things to you?
There are, to be certain, reasons this cannot and will not work. The first is that you can’t attract anything out of a pure vacuum.
Nature abhors a vacuum. What that means is that it tends to reject utter absence. To manifest something using the Law of Attraction, to begin you need to become aware of your vibrational frequency.
There is no gage or tricorder capable of determining what frequency anyone nor anything vibrates at. This takes more work than that. The work, however, is relatively simple — but requires time and effort.
This is all about practicing mindfulness. Mindfulness is becoming aware of your thoughts, feelings, and actions. This is done by examining, recognizing, and acknowledging what you are thinking, what and how you are feeling, and the intent behind your actions.
Being mindful of your headspace makes you aware of yourself. That awareness can tell you if you are vibrating at a high frequency or a low frequency.
Low frequencies are negative while high frequencies are positive. Negatives are just as attractive as positives, and when you desire to manifest something it is always a positive matter.
So, if you are feeling negative you will not be able to attract that which you desire to manifest. Thus, through mindfulness, you can choose to raise your frequency.
Easier said than done? Maybe. But then to manifest anything you need to have effort.
When you take action you are doing something. Science has proven that action in the mind produces the same effect as action in the body. So conscious reality creation and manifestation via the Law of Attraction is not so far-fetched and hooky-spooky when you consider that effort IS necessary, is it?
One-time effort is not the same as surrender
The next thing you might be thinking is, you can’t just put it out there, walk away, and think it’ll be done. You’re right about that. You can’t. Efforts must be ongoing.
If you do not continue to maintain the higher frequency and reinforce your actions to attract something to you it’s going to fall apart.
For example, I can ask the Universe to give me a specific amount of money, like $5000. I can make the request, put my energy and focus into it, practice mindfulness to get my head in the right space, and then believe it will happen.
The problem comes in mistaking reinforcing and releasing. Releasing means that you have put it out there and believe it’s happening. BUT, and this is important, you still attune your vibrational frequency accordingly, and reinvigorate that energy from time to time.
Maybe I have asked for $5000. To help make it manifest I should create a blank check, written out to myself, which I look at regularly. When I look at that check I will become mindful of my intent, recall what I am thinking and how I am feeling about it, and thus reinforce my conscious reality creation via the Law of Attraction.
I will not deny that this is perfectly imperfect. It can feel very much like total and complete BS. And yet, I have made this work before, more than once. So I know I am completely capable of doing it all again.
Mindfulness makes me aware of if I am vibrating energetically at a high or low frequency. That information, in turn, allows me to attract what things I desire to have in my life.
Not hard, not easy
When all is said and done using the Law of Attraction to consciously create reality is an easy concept. But in practice, there is a lot more that goes into it.
You cannot simply be mindful, either. No, this goes deeper than mindfulness. It’s not just about your thoughts, feelings, and actions, but frankly the depths of the essence of you. This goes far into your psyche, touching on not just the mental but the spiritual.
In other words, you need to have faith and believe.
No, this is not about God or some other entity. Even though you are putting this notion out to the Universe at large, it’s not about any external, omniscient “Powers that Be” and the like.
It is, in fact, about you.
This is you believing and having faith in yourself and your ability to manifest what you desire.
In certain circumstances, this is not hard, but in many, many others it’s really not easy, either.
When I was severely injured and told I would maybe not fully recover and be able to do all the things I could before, I saw only one outcome. I would be completely, totally, and fully healed. Nothing would stop that, and I would accept no other options.
I cannot deny I had an incredible medical team putting me back together again. Doctors, nurses, radiologists, occupational and physical therapists, and all the people who examined, worked on and helped me were key. But I still pushed faster and further than anyone anticipated. I kept them surprised frequently.
I raised my frequency to match that of total and complete healing. And that is what I got.
Believe or disbelieve, the law is there
Gravity works whether or not you believe in it. Evolution has been observed by science whether or not you believe in it. The Law of Attractions exists and works whether or not you believe in it.
It’s important to acknowledge that some variants on this notion are rather out-there. Hooky-spooky gibberish that seems ludicrous. You are not mistaken, this is totally true.
But the Law is there, believe or disbelieve. Some facts are really not open for debate.
Which brings me to my final point. For the most part, no harm comes from believing in the Law of Attraction. Some people see it as far more ethereal than natural, and some people can come across as pretty naïve in regards to the necessary work — but that doesn’t entirely matter.
So long as you don’t harm anyone or yourself, practicing conscious reality creation, mindfulness, and using the Law of Attraction is empowering. There are so many messages of disempowerment in the world at large — anything empowering is positive and good.
Thus, let people work with this law of nature, and don’t give unwanted opinions if you think its all a load of crap. Please know that your negativity does nobody any good, especially you.
Nature’s laws don’t care about your opinion of them. They will perform as they always do. When you can make use of that to better your life is there any good reason not to do so?
You are worthy and deserving of using your mindfulness to find and/or create the reality in which you desire to live. When all is said and done you and I matter, and that is a fact that is not open for debate.
