So here's my problem with the overall premise you present here.

Right now - far, far too many people refuse to accept and believe science over opinion and general, unfounded BS. Because of this - statements about the truth of science are important to show the masses that though theories are always tested, sometimes disproven - overall science is true (especially in the face of illogical opinion).

If more people saw science as true - and cared - the pandemic would be far closer to over than it is (at least in the USA).
