Think You’re the Only One Feeling Lost and Alone?
Feeling lost and alone takes different forms — but it’s the new pandemic.
If you feel lost — and that feeling is neither positive nor negative, defying logic, reason, or even an emotional explanation — you’re not alone.
When the pandemic hit in 2020 and shut down the world for a time, it caused a ripple effect. This hiccup in reality impacted everyone. And nobody bothered to address it.
Life goes on. But that hiccup caused a great deal of uncertainty. It opened a lot of people up to a new way to see life, the Universe, and everything.
Lockdowns placed us alone or with specific people in ways never before experienced. Some of the best in humanity came about to improve the greater good. But simultaneously, some of the worst became empowered to wreck, destroy, and take for themselves.
It all ended neither with a bang nor a whimper. Because it didn’t truly end. The change this represented has never been addressed in the race to return to the status quo. A status quo that, truthfully, wasn’t quo.
When you don’t give proper due to mental health, it should come as no surprise that society is tearing itself apart. Because we all feel like we’re all alone in this instance.
