What if Your Battles For Physical Wellness Are In Your Head?

Is physical wellness a matter of mental and emotional health?

Have you struggled to lose weight, increase muscle tone, up your endurance, increase your stamina, or do anything else to improve your physical health, wellness, and wellbeing?

Most likely you have. I don’t believe I’ve ever met anyone that hadn’t made some attempt or other to improve upon their physical being.

I’ve been struggling with my weight and body size my whole life. I’ve done diet programs, exercise programs, combined plans, formal and informal changes, used fitness apps and trackers, and nearly every other consumer option I could at some time or other.

Over the last decade-plus, I’ve avoided diet programs and extreme exercise plans. Apart from my weight and body size, I’m in decent health overall.

During my adult life, my weight skyrocketed up to 283 pounds at the height of the pandemic — and dropped to 200 pounds for a short time in the early 2000s. For the most part, I hover somewhere around 250 pounds (and for the record, I’m just shy of 5’6” and tend to slouch).
