What is Meant By the Phrase “The Future is Now”?

“The future is now.” I’ve always thought that to be an odd phrase. But then, when you take the Law of Attraction into account, it makes perfect sense.

Consciousness creates reality. In being conscious of the here and now, the future is made manifest, now.

If our present reality is the result of our past thoughts, feelings, intentions, and actions, then by being wholly in the now — and aware and present — we create the future. As such, the future is now.

I’ve spent years working with conflicting emotions and combatting the artificial messages of lack, scarcity, and insufficiency with the truth that we live in an abundant universe. This abundant universe has more than enough tangibles and intangibles for you, me, the assholes in government, and everyone else.

Even while striving to be present and actively consciously aware — mindful — in the here and now, I often think about the future. There are things I intend to be doing, and they happen to be ahead of me.

Why are they ahead of me and not in the now? Because they are dependent on things I do not have right now — but will have or am working to find and/or…
