The application of willpower is a fascinating challenge.
Willpower is often cited as the end-all, be-all of how shit gets done. Diet and exercise, quitting smoking, quitting drinking, and tons of other actions are often considered acts of willpower.
But willpower is super-vague. Thus, an idea that works for you might now work for me — and vice-versa. What’s more, it can often be a catch-all rather than a complete, step-by-step explanation. Which, of course, adds to its vagary.
Willpower is still a necessary element to make things happen in your life. When it comes to your health and wellbeing — the choices you make are usually part of your willpower.
This is not a super-power when all is said and done. But it also IS a super-power, in that willpower can drive your life in numerous ways.
